In 2008, Professional Beauty Supply made a commitment to do what we could to go green as much as we feasibly could.

In our industry, this is not always easy – but as times changed we saw the future of what responsible hair care companies were doing and we wanted to be a part of it. We've been taking baby steps in the effort to help make beauty a safe place.

We started by searching for product lines that had the same goals. Soon we began carrying products that no longer were made with parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, propylene glycol, DEA, TEA, colors, dyes and conducted no animal testing - companies who were also making advances in packaging and manufacturing to keep our planet a better place to live now and in the future.

We changed our bi-monthly PROFESSIONAL catalog to a new look to emphasize our commitment visually, and started printing on recycled paper and using only inks that are safe for the environment, earning the FSC Mixed Sources validation for meeting the government's standards in printing (products and execution).

But it doesn't stop there – every day there are new technologies and changes to our world, and our industry. Every day we will attempt to make changes that benefit our customers, salons, and our environment.
